Ceremony of Remembrance & Renewal scheduled for March 8th

Armed Forces Scottish Rite Remembrance and Renewal Ceremony 2012 will be conducted at Boughton Memorial Hall on Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas on 8th March 2012 at 7:30pm.  This ceremony will be preceded by a dinner which is open to the public and all Scottish Rite members, Master Masons, family and friends.

Dinner buffet (MENU) will be served at 6:30 p.m.  Dinner for this event is $12.00 Dollars a plate. Come one and come all enjoy an evening of fellowship, remembrance and renewal of our past and present illustrious members of our fraternity.  Please RSVP no later than March 1, 2012 with number of guests to Brother Bob Casto or Bro Jose Marrero via email.   Monies for the dinner will be collected on location the day of the event or payment can be arranged by contacting the persons listed above via email.  <posted 20120211 expires 20120309>


First Ever National Knights of St. Andrew Gathering will be in Oklahoma

The Guthrie, Oklahoma Knights of St. Andrew, with assistance from the St. Louis, Missouri Chapter, will host the first ever National Gathering of Knights in conjunction with the Guthrie Valley Spring Reunion, March 30 – April 1, 2012. KSA members, as well as knights from other “Black Cap” Scottish Rite service organizations from across the nation, are invited to participate.  See the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry SJ web site for more information.

Scottish Rite Honors

Congratulations to Bro. Herb Merrick, 33°, IGH, who received his white cap at the Coronation on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Scottish Rite Center in Wichita.  Also, the Rite honored Bro. Steve Kempf, 32°, KCCH, who received his red cap at the Knights Commander Court of Honor Investiture later that same day.  Give these well-deserving brothers the hand of congratulations at the next opportunity.


Online Payment of Dues

Supreme Council published a memo to describe new procedures for online payment of dues and making contributions. See Ill. William Sizemore's memo dated May 23, 2011.

Spring Reunion

The Spring Reunion was named for Brother Wilberto Sabalu, Jr., a member of Hancock Lodge No. 311 killed in the line of duty in Afghanistan.  See the picture page for additional information.


Knights of Saint Andrew Announcement

Knights of Saint Andrew have formed and are now collecting dues ($10) and electing officers in Feb, date and time to be announced. Non black hats can also join as associate members for the same money. To join, please submit a completed KSA membership form to Brother John Harris.

This is a club within the Scottish Rite run by "black hats" for the newer Scottish Rite Masons.  If you're interested in being part of this special group, contact Bro. Herb Merrick for additional details.  This is a fun, informal club. Click the symbol to the Knights of Saint Andrew web page.

LM - $ 700.00 Over 70 years young
LM - $ 840.00 61 - 70 years of age
LM - $1050.00 51 - 61 years of age
PLM - $1260.00 41 - 50 years of age
PLM - $1400.00 18 - 40 years of age
A one year payment schedule can be arranged.
