Leavenworth Chapter #154, National Sojourners, has a uniformed Flag Building Team. Our ~30 minute presentation requires only the following: A place to put our easel on which we build the flag and a small table, like a card table, on which to put our materials. We bring everything else.

As an introduction, we are members of Fort Leavenworth Chapter No. 154, National Sojourners. Sojourners is a Masonic organization of many chapters that promote Patriotism and Americanism. Sojourners sponsor one of the nation's largest libraries on Americanism at Collingwood along the Potomac just north of George Washington's estate at Mount Vernon. Sojourners also sponsor
JROTC awards, present flags, and participate in many local activities that honor our flag and nation. Our membership consists primarily of officers, warrant officers, and senior NCOs, past and present, of the uniformed services of the United States of America.

The Flag Building is a short, visual history of the many variations of our flag as our nation struggled, grew and prospered.
	We do not charge for our program. We do it for love of our flag and country. We gladly accept any donations, which we apply to our Freedoms Foundation Scholarship Fund. The fund is used to send area youth to Freedoms Foundation in Valley Forge. Since 1965, Freedoms Foundation comprehensive educational curriculum has reached more than 50,000
elementary and high school students and 9,000 educators. Their programs in American History, constitutional rights and citizens' responsibilities, civics, character building, and the free enterprise system have earned wide spread recognition while remaining consistent with national Social Studies standards.
