Patton Junior High School Americanism Essay Contest Winner
Madeline Tennant, ninth grade student at Patton Junior High
School, was graciously received at our May 6th Sojourners meeting
and read her winning essay to the gather crowd. Her essay on
citizenship was vey well done and earned her a top savings bond
award. She attended the meeting with her mother, Marianne.
Dick Wright is our Americanism coordinator for the essay contest and
introduced Madeline. The chapter was grateful for all the
students who participated.
The same evening, the chapter initiated
its newest Sojourner, Brother Ivan Ridgeway (second from right in
the front row).
