Leland Salts, Grand Lecturer, led the days activities. DDGM #2 Steven Songer chaired the event.
PGM Larry Weingardner was among us. Chefs Arvid Bergman, Frank Glover and Gene Middleton filled the lunchtime bill.
The feast begins. The hungry travelers lined up quickly once the clock struck high twelve.
Burgers, dog and soup were the fare of the day. Sunny inside and out. A great fraternal assembly.
  Hancock Lodge #311 hosted the annual District #2 Lodge of Instruction.  Participating lodges were Osklaoosa #14, Easton #45, Active #159 (Atchison) and Hancock #311.  Leland Salts, Grand Lecturer, came over from Topeka and presented a great day of instruction.  Steve Songer, District Deputy Grand Master of District #2 introduced our Grand Lecturer.  Also present was PGM Larry Weingardner.  Arvid Bergman, Frank Glover and Gene Middleton serving as cooks and chief bottlewashers put on a great lunchtime feast.  The fixins help lubricate the machine of fraternal harmony and discourse.  Not represented were King Solomon #10, Nine Mile #49 and Mt Zion #266.
