Old Frontier Camp, Heroes of 76® Bivouac at Fort McAfee October 16, 2003

Recent declassification of Intelligence photos led to the discovery of Old Frontier Camp, Heroes of 76®, a camp not heard from for a long time.  While bivouacked at Fort McAfee, west of Leavenworth, Kansas, the camp found two lurkers attempting to gain entry.  After the appropriate interrogation, both were found to be able-bodied recruits and were quickly inducted into the Continental Army.  The new Heroes are William S. Reeder, Jr. and Herbert F. Merrick, both members of Fort Leavenworth Chapter, National Sojourners, Inc.  At the conclusion of the bivouac, the camp again went underground.
