Hancock Lodge # 311 - Schedule of Events -- July/August 2010 --
Brethren,The following is the Worshipful Master's schedule for the months of July and August 2010. Please review to assist in your planning
and scheduling
Date/Time/Scheduled Activity
- July 15th 2010 / 6:00 PM / Hancock Lodge annual visit to
the Weston Missouri Lodge. We will depart from the Armed Forces Bank parking lot at that evening.
Please come out and support this event.
- July 21st / 6:00 PM / Hancock Lodge inaugural visit to the T-Bones. We will meet at the ball park in the Legends around 6:00 PM.
See Bro Tom Calloway or call WB Earl for details.
- July 29th / 6:30 PM / 5th Thursday. The location has yet to be determined and details will be forth coming from our
Junior Warden, Bro Vic Henke. If you have a recommendation or a place you'd like to go, make sure that you let the JW know.
- August 7th / 10:00 - 1:00 PM / PAIR Day. The event will take place in the hangar on the Airfield. We need volunteers to assist
in setting up and tearing down the booth as well as manning the booth for the event. Please come out and help make this a
successful event. The Jobes Daughters and Buzzy the Clown will be joining us for this event.
- August 11th / 7:00 PM / Hancock Lodge #311 has been invited to attend the Meeting of Mount Olive Lodge # 3.
They meet in Bethel AME Church located at the corner of Kiowa Street and 4th Street in Leavenworth Kansas.
Come out and join with our Brothers of Mount Olive Lodge and make this a truly memorable evening.
- August 21st / 8:00 AM / One Day Class to confer the 2nd and 3rd Degree. We have 16 Entered Apprentices and 3-4 Fellow Craft that
are in need of proving up. Shawnee Lodge #54 will be hosting the class. All Entered Apprentices attending the class must be
proved up on the 1st Degree prior to attending the class and their proficiency must be documented. I will be conducting Study
Clubs during July and August to help get our Brothers prepared to attend the class and I will need volunteers to assist in
conducting the Study Clubs and Proficiency Examinations.
- August 28th / Friends of Mason's Day. We will need volunteers to assist in giving tours of the Lodge and serving refreshments.
Our last Friends of Mason's day was famously successful with 7 petitions and I expect nothing less this time around. Please come
out for this event and help us welcome our visitors and prospects to Boughton Hall, Hancock Lodge #311 and the hopefully Fraternity.
Although attendance at these events is not by any means mandatory, your participation, in as much as you can is highly encouraged.
I invite all Brothers to contact me if they desire to participate in the degree work and perform a role.
